With the economic development,China becomes the world first in automotive production,sales and total volume,and the automotive emission became the major air pollution in China,and became the most concern of the government,OEM and suppliers.The diesel engine produces the most PM,fog and haze in the city,the SCR(Selective Catalyst Reducer)is the main technical product,including the Urea dosing system and box canning system.The major world suppliers monopolized the dosing system technology and market in China,the native suppliers have been competing in the box canning with the international powers.With the implementation of the most strict emission control standard ?/?/? in China,the box canning technologies becomes the technical bottlenecks.As a traditional technology,the shortage in understanding of SCR dynamic design,vibration durability,resonant noise control resulted in unable to solve the product quality,consistency,durability and recall.The most effective way is to build up the systematic procedure and specification for structural design,system vibration,original R&D,product validation.The dynamic load acquisition,loading spectrum,and validation test of SCR are the core technologies.With the severe structural failure of the most advanced SCR product,this project is targeting to study the failure sources,evaluating the modification,validation test and standardize the loading spectrum.Sampled with the world advanced product WP12 SCR,for both the severe failed system and modified system,the proving ground test for modified system,data acquisition,data analysis,failure study,modification suggestion and evaluation are all executed.Based on the dynamic test data,both the bending load spectrum and acceleration PSD spectrum are built,and then implemented to validate the structural modification of the future SCR in the lab.Finally,the modified SCR was validated and tested with this acceleration PSD load spectrum.This systematic methodology and procedure can help to implement R&D,improve quality,reduce cost and innovate product for any mechanical system especially for the diesel after-treatment system.
