Radioactive seed source is a miniature radioactive source used for radioactive particle brachytherapy.At present,the radioactive seeds used in domestic treatment mainly use silver wire to adsorb specific radionuclides and then seal them to titanium tubes.With the development of radioactive particle brachytherapy in China,there is a great demand for radioactive seeds in clinic.In this paper,aiming at the current situation of manual assembly of radioactive seed sources in China,an automatic device for radioactive seed source assembly is designed.Firstly,the relevant research background and the research status on the automatic assembly of radioactive seed source are introduced,and the overall design scheme is put forward,and the related technologies used in the scheme are also made.Introduction.The automatic assembly device is divided into seven modules,including the titanium tube falling module,the welding seal module,the module of reversing and overturn,the silver wire falling module,the collection module,the detection module and the control module.The assembly device can complete the assembly operation from the titanium tube without welding seal both ends to the end products of seed source.The design of the mechanical structure of the device was based on the virtual prototype technology and was designed using SolidWorks software.The automatic assembly process of radioactive seeds was described in detail in conjunction with the specific mechanical structure.In order to achieve stable and nondestructive clamping of titanium tubes,a cam type titanium tube clip is designed.In order to improve the reliability of the device,the photoelectric electronic counter is used to count the titanium tube and silver wire,and the laser beam optoelectronic switch is used to detect the titanium tube into the tooling hole correctly.In order to solve the problem of reversing the titanium tube during assembly,a reversing module was designed.The cam type titanium tube clip and the falling channel are the key parts of the designed assembly device.This paper makes the corresponding simulation verification of the cam type titanium tube clip,titanium tube and silver wire falling channel model designed by SolidWorks software and introduced into the ADAMS software,and optimizes the model.Finally,a physical prototype is made on the basis of the simulation,and the titanium tube is fixed and the titanium tube and silver wire feed are tested.The key functions of the designed radioactive seed automatic assembly device are verified,which lays a foundation for the successful development of the device.
