Study Post-Occupancy Evaluation Of Urban Comprehensive Park Based On Public Life

Urban Parks are the public place for recreation and entertainment for local citizens and foreign visitors.They are not only to bring people the enjoyment of beauty,but also provide the space to close to nature,to play the games and to communicate together.With the change of life style and society,People attention to the quality of public place.Jan Gail in the "humanized city" pointed out that when we improve the urban environment,and enhance the attractiveness of the city,but at the same time lost its affinity.Convenient vehicle driving,aggrieved pedestrians,facilitate commercial activities,the phenomenon of public life neglected in the city everywhere.Cities should be built for people,diverse urban space can stimulate a variety of public life,provide the possibility of meeting people,and promote social integration of different age groups in different classes.However,with the rapid development of urbanization,the city appeared too many cars,noise,no room for rest.In order to improve the quality of city's public space,the first thing you need to do is to understand how the quality of public space at present,for example,people how to use the public space,whether the public space meet people's needs.Urban Park is the main part of urban public space,the urban comprehensive park is the important part of urban park.This study takes the urban comprehensive park as the research object,and references the theories and concepts of urban planning,environmental psychology,environmental behavior theory and Post-Occupancy Evaluation theory,with the methods of in-depth interviews,field investigation and questionnaires to collect the data,using excel2013,spss19.0,matlab and other mathematical software to analyze the data,from the users' point,to evaluate the urban park.Using the method of behavioral system measurement in POE research method,to understand the general spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of urban comprehensive park users;Image analysis is used to record the public life of the urban comprehensive park,and to classify the public life in the urban comprehensive park.Based on the perspective of public life,the index system of urban comprehensive park post-occupancy evaluation was constructed,and the basic characteristics of population and behavior preference in urban comprehensive parks were sampled and investigated.Using average value and one-way ANOVA to analysis the results of users' evaluation.Using AHP to calculate the index weight,and through weighted average worthy of the total score of the city park.And reveals the existing problems of urban comprehensive park puts forward the optimization suggestions.As far as possible to create a user can play their proper role urban comprehensive park environment,also can provide a reference for future design of urban comprehensive park.Research results show that:(1)Users with different social demographic characteristics have different behavioral preferences.(2)One-way ANOVA analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the gender utilization status of the comprehensive park,and the age,the user source in different confidence levels are significant differences;(3)Evaluation of different types of users of public life status of the city comprehensive park has a significant difference,the user evaluation based on fitness,culture and entertainment and rest exchanges is highest,however the evaluation of the play and passing through is lower.(4)The most important factor is the attraction factor in the evaluation of urban comprehensive park use,the other sort is comfort,accessibility,protective safety factors.While the users in the city park evaluation is the best comfort factors,the rest of the order are accessibility,attractiveness and protection.
