Non-renewable fossil fuels will continue to be the main energy supply for a long time in the future.It has great potential for development with notably abundant reserves of offshore oil and gas.Exploitation of offshore oil and gas requires the research of marine engineering equipment and related technologies.Installation of offshore platform is one of the key technologies in the exploitation of offshore oil and gas.Compared with the traditional method of lifting platform,float over installation method has the advantages of convenience,safety,economy.Simulating the mooring,put in and put out operations,in order to provide data support and security for the application of float over installation project.This paper carried out research work as follows.On the basis of the three-dimensional potential theory,the T type float over installation barge in waves is studied.In the hydrodynamic software SESAM,the WADAM module is used to calculate the hydrodynamic characteristics of the T barge in frequency domain.Compared with traditional square barge,the hydrodynamic characteristics are analyzed.Using lumped mass method and quasi static analysis of catenary,a computing model of mooring barges in float over installation is established.Mooring cable tension calculation program is programmed.With numerical simulation,analyzing the effects of mooring line material,the degree of tension and different mooring arrangement of mooring line tension,the number of nodes in the lumped mass method for calculating tension.Based on MMG theory,according to the characteristics of ship maneuvering motion equations with six degrees of freedom,establish the float over installation of barge towing system model.Towing model which the motions of the barge and the tug are combined includes the mooring model,considering the environmental force.The simulation processes consist of positioning,put in,put out and preparation stage.For barge coupled motion of each stage in the float over operation conditions,calculating cable tension respectively by using catenary method and the lumped mass method,analyzing dangerous working conditions and the calculation results were compared with MOSES software's.
