As a core system of exploration and exploitation of deep sea submarine metal nodule mineral resources,the specific design research of deep-sea mining vessels is the proper meaning under the favorable situation of rapid development of deep sea mineral exploitation and marine operation technology.Based on the functional demand of deep-sea mining vessels,the design and optimization of handy deep sea mining vessel are completed from the aspects of ship type analysis,conceptual design,principal dimensions optimization,comprehensive performance index construction and multi-scheme decision.Based on the analysis of the functional requirements,design features and operating conditions of the deep-sea mining vessel,the conceptual design of the handymax deep-sea mining vessel was designed by drawing on the large outreach type of the aircraft carrier deck,and the related softwares were used to calculate the performance of the ship,such as buoyancy,stability and sea keeping resistance.Around the technical requirements of the conventional ship,the operational capability indexes of the deep-sea mining vessel are introduced,and the coverage of the deep-sea mining vessel is built.The comprehensive performance indicators include 4 top level targets,11 intermediate targets,32 underlying indicators,reflecting the deep-sea mining vessel performance indicators system.According to multidisciplinary analysis,this paper puts forward the calculation and evaluation model of target layer and index layer through statistic deduction,empirical analysis,calculation and judgment.And this model is taken as the follow-up optimization Algorithm support.The optimization process of the modified non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-?)is analyzed.The ship's main scale parameters are regarded as the design variables,and the ship weight,cargo utilization ratio,roll cycle and pitching period are the targets.And the NSGA-II optimization algorithm program is written as the tool.The feasible scheme of multi-objective optimization and iterative generation of the main scale of the ship is completed and the scheme is provided for the decision-making.Based on the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)and the index system,a combination judgment method of multi-expert weights is introduced,and the expert decision-making judgment matrix and comprehensive weight are calculated.Finally,the weights of each index are obtained,Decision-making Priority of Main-scale Type Deep-sea Mining.Compared with the requirement of aim of optimization,the final decision reach agreement.It is obvious that the performance has huge advantages compared with the original one.
