Wind energy is a renewable resource,it has no pollution and is widely distributed.Effective utilization of wind energy is of long-term significance for alleviating China’s energy shortage,improving the proportion of energy consumption and building ecological civilization.Along with our country issued " The 13 th Five-Year Plan for Marine Economy Development","Vision for Maritime Cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative"," National Offshore Wind Power Development and Construction Project " and other documents,the wind turbine installation vessel that has many functions such as transportation,installation and maintenance will usher in a rare opportunity for development.Based on the project of "key technology research of new wind turbine installation vessel(201500888)",this paper carries out the following research.(1)In this paper,the development of offshore wind farms are described,the key technologies of the wind turbine installation vessel are elaborated,and the development law of offshore wind farm and wind turbine installation vessel are proposed.And these can provide reference for the development of deep-water and large-scale offshore wind turbine installation equipment in China.(2)By analyzing and comparing the characteristics of offshore wind turbine installation equipment,this paper gives a new type of wind turbine installation vessel with high loading capacity and multiple working conditions,and it’s in the "3rd generation +" level.The ship type selection,hull line and general layout design,structural design,equipment selection and investment economic analysis are carried out.(3)To calculate the wind turbine installation vessel’s dimension ratio,the article collectes data of more than 50 wind turbine installation vessels.Based on these data,this paper analyzes the sensitivity index of each main scale of wind turbine installation vessel to the load weight,and obtains a set of wind turbine installation vessel’s principal dimension calculation formula by the regression analysis.(4)The floating-state and stability when the wind turbine installation vessel is in the floating hoisting operation are analyzed.The stability criterion of the wind turbine installation vessel’s suddenly suffering a loss of lifting weight loss is studied,and the motion response of the wind turbine installation vessel in the wave is analyzed.(5)The evaluation system of wind turbine installation vessel is established,and the evaluation system is verified by several ships that have been delivered.Seven indexes which can reflect the technical level of the wind turbine installation vessel are put forward,and the weights of each index are calculated based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),the Coefficient of Variation Method,the Precedence Chart Method and the Entropy Method.(6)Based on the existing new ship Energy Efficiency Design Index(EEDI),the energy efficiency checking method of wind turbine installation vessel is discussed,and a bran-new index called Energy Efficiency Composite Index(EECI)for wind turbine installation vessel is proposed.Finally,several ships are selected as examples to verify the correctness of this method.
