Based on the Tianjin Xihe Control Sluice Project,this paper analyzes the causes of disease for the sluices on the soft soil foundation in Tianjin with the engineering investigation and engineering review.Aiming at the main causes of disease in Xihe Sluice,a variety of reinforcement design schemes are carried out for the main parts of the sluice,we choose the most appropriate design according to the actual situation of the project.The stress and stability of reinforced sluice are analyzed by numerical calculation and traditional methods to verify the rationality of the scheme.The main contents are presented as follows:(1)The main diseases and hydrological geology of the Xihe Sluice are investigated;based on the analysis of flow capacity、stability of the chamber and the wing wall、the floor seepage damage 、the regional settlement and uneven settlement,this paper summarizes the main problems of Xihe Sluice,and puts forward the causes of disease on Tianjin soft soil foundation.(2)According to the main disease causes,we propose a variety of programs to reinforce the gate lock chamber、floor、wing wall,choose the optimal combination by comparing the alternatives.Put forward the overall layout of the sluice,and draw engineering layout through the selected reinforcement program.(3)Combined with the reinforcement design scheme,the structural stress、 gate lock chamber stability and seepage stability of the sluice are reexamined by numerical calculation method.review of sluice flow capacity and wing wall stability with Design Specification.The purpose is to verify the correctness of reinforcement design.(4)In the end,this paper summarizes the present situation and puts forward suggestions and prospects for the design of sluices in Tianjin soft soil area.
