Soft soil foundation is characterized by complex geological conditions and load patterns. During the construction of highway on soft soil foundation, if the foundation is not be handled properly, it will bring instability, slumping, settlement deformation of the embankment and generating differential settlement of the contact part of embankment and structure and other series of engineering problems, and further lead to the early damage of pavement, it serious impact on the service life of highway.Using the method of dynamic consolidation to reinforce the soft soil foundation, the foundation soil will produce enormous shock waves and dynamic stress and the strength of the foundation soil will be improved.Based on the previous work, taking test with the dynamic consolidation technology on soft soil foundation of lake facies deposition of Xing Heng highway as the engineering background. This paper study on the reinforcement effect of soft soil foundation of lake facies deposition under the impact load of dynamic consolidation.Firstly, combining with the theories of dynamic consolidation, compaction of vibration and solid microstructure to analyze the mechanism of consolidation, wave propagation and structure of soil under the impact load of dynamic consolidation. At the same time, reviewing and summarizing the calculation methods of the effective reinforcement depth of dynamic consolidation. Secondly, combining with the tests of settlement and deformation of foundation, static load tests, standard penetration test and the test of physical and mechanical of foundation to analyze and evaluate the effect of soil reinforcement after treatment by dynamic consolidation. By analysis and comparison the test data shows that the treatment methods of dynamic consolidation to the soft soil foundation of lake facies deposition have achieved good effect of reinforcement. Finally, combining with the soft soil characteristic of Xing Heng highway and using FLAC3 D, select a representative soil to set up a numerical model of dynamic consolidation. And study the displacement of soil, the development of soil plastic zone and the internal stress distribution of soil. Analyzed and compared theresults of simulation calculation and field test shows that both the results are similar to each other.
