Application And Research Of Data Warehouse Technology In Aviation

With the rapid development of information technology,we have entered a new era.A lot of information and data are being generated quickly.It is more urgent than ever to use scientific methods to collect the data for analyzing and judging accurately from a different perspective with all aspects of information on enterprise management.After many years of building and research in information technology of major airlines,they have built their own large-scale information processing system.These systems have accumulated a large amount of relevant historical business data in their daily operations.However,the requirement for IT systems are no longer stuck in the business process and daily management.It has been promoted to the decision-making analysis level.The emerging of data warehouse makes analysis and use of these data become more likely.In this thesis,one airline enterprise will be used as an example.Starting from the practical application of this airline enterprise and to enhance the competitiveness in the field of aviation,it discussed the data warehouse architecture,data warehouse model,ETL design,data extraction and extraction based on the basic principle and method of data warehouse using the method of theory and practice combination.In the end of the thesis,some specific cases are used to illustrate the application of the data warehouse.This system takes the Oracle11 g database as the foundation platform,using Informatica as the ETL tool,using Cognos and Qlikview as the data analysis platform.This system provides a complete solution for the development of a set of data warehouse management and application software from data integration.Based on an airline specific project,this thesis does comprehensive exploration and research on the data model design,ETL design,development,multi-dimensional data reports and ad hoc queries.This data warehouse system has certain directive significance for aviation data warehouse construction.This system has been tested thoroughly,each component of this system is running normally,each subject area meets the needs of the aviation enterprise business users.Now the system has been put into use and the effect is good.The next phase of implementation will cover more OLTP systems for this airline enterprise.The expectation is to further optimize the airline internal work processes,reducing manual intervention and integrate enterprise resources to improve the management and work efficiency for this airline enterprise.
