As the 91 st Session of the international maritime safety Committee(MSC)adopted new standard MSC.337(91)implemented,ship design,manufacturing units and owners began to pay more attention to the ship's cabin noise levels.As that IMO.468 is not imposed and new MSC standards compared to old standards is more strict,therefore,understanding current ship cabin noise level,master cabin noise prediction method quickly and efficiently and optimizing cabin noise control measures is necessary.Based on the new MSC standard,the artical studied cabin noise level,cabin noise prediction method and cabin noise control methods,which specifically includes:1)Researched the cabin noise prediction of simplify method and SEA method and cabin noise control measures.2)Introduce the ship niose measurement technology.And By the statistics of niose measurements data of 35 ships,analyzing the noise level of bulk carrier,oil tanker,container ship and ore carrier.Research the relationship of the cabin noise and the cabin location,ship tonnage and other reasons.3)Based on the simplified method and SEA method,calculate the cabin noise of a 76000 bulk and compare the results and measurement data.4)Based on the example of bulk carriers,introduce the cabin control process and some measures used by shipbuilding industry.
