At present,the national nuclear power construction is in the stage of gradual increase,and the demand for nuclear fuel will continue to increase,which leads to the huge demand for nuclear fuel elements.As one of the nuclear fuel elements,the heavy water reactor fuel element has a very important position in the development of China's nuclear power.Therefore,the accelerated development of the related manufacturing automation for the fuel elements of heavy water reactor wi ll help the rapid development of nuclear power in China.Heavy water core block molding post as the first process in the core block preparation workshop has a very important production role,which directly affects the production efficiency of subsequent pr ocesses in the core block preparation workshop.Therefore,the automatic transformation of the molding post on the base of the heavy water reactor component plant will be imperative.In order to analyze the reform object and the needs of the transformation,the principle of the core preparation,the current production scheme and the production process of the molding post are introduced and analyzed in this paper.On the basis of these,the functional layout of the core block cutting station is put forward,and the production process after automated transformation is made.Then,according to the transformation plan,the mechanical structure of each part of the core block cutting station is designed,and the static analysis of the unit robot's pickup device is carried out to verify the structural strength.After the completion of the mechanical structure design,the principle of the electrical design of the equipment is expounded from the safety,reliability,maintenance difficulty and ecological environmental protection.Then,based on the electrical design principles,the hardware selection of the electrical parts of the core block workstation is carried out under the constraint conditions of transformation objects,transformation needs and mechanical structur es.After the hardware selection is completed,the electrical circuit and the PLC control program are designed according to the operation flow and control requirements of the equipment.Finally,the effectiveness analysis and evaluation of the transformati on are carried out from three aspects of technical index,economic benefit and social benefit.
