The Pavilion of Surging Waves is the oldest garden during the existing Suzhou classical gardens.With its development of nearly one thousand years history,under the background of different dynasties,the Pavilion of Surging Waves has properties with different connotations.This historic garden,accumulating in the long history of fracture,and then connecting,at last it retained so far until today.It has its contingency,but also has its certainty.How did the landscape evolution of the Pavilion of Surging Waves change in its one thousand years history? What is the variation of the property of the Pavilion of Surging Waves? What is the reason for the Pavilion of Surging Waves continues until today rather than disappear in the wheel of history?This paper begins with the research of the historical maps and literature about the Pavilion of Surging Waves.Combining the left literati paintings from different dynasties and historical documents of suzhou ancient maps to contrast the layout of the garden,weighing the garden range,the main body construction and garden plants in the Pavilion of Surging Waves.Drawing the landscape image plan in the different historical stage,intuitively reflecting the unique garden layout of surging wave pavilion,in order to reflect the systematic change of surging waves pavilion more completely.Secondly,dividing the representative change stages of the Canglang Pavilion Park appearance,starting from the social and historical background,landscape garden life modality,spatial characteristics and theme of the landscape,analysis Canglang pavilion garden about the space in different historical background pattern,analysis the different historical periods of the Canglang Pavilion Garden property,analysis the Canglang Pavilion space in different stands the theme of the stage.Finally,summary the cultural connotation of the Pavilion of Surging Waves from the concise dynamic evolution,to fully reveal the intrinsic cultural value of the Pavilion of Surging Waves.Based on the above mentioned study,this thesis argues that: firstly,the Pavilion of Surging Waves had only two hundred years history been a private garden.Nearly seven hundred years of history,The Pavilion of Surging Waves was a public garden.Secondly,the cultural connotation of the Pavilion of Surging Waves,not only retains its true "Surging wave culture",it even extend the value with "Jing Xing Wei Xian" and "Bend Introspection".This is developed from the same meaning,which is the most precious thing to the garden that has the history of nearly one thousand years.Deep digging into the surging waves pavilion has an important guiding significance to the modern value.The pavilion of Surging waves,is the landmark of JiangNan culture,the moral high ground!...
