Objective To analyze the water quality condition and health risk analysis of municipal water supply units in Anhui Province,in order to provide help for strengthen drinking water safety security work.MethodsBy analyzing the water quality monitoring data of municipal water supply units between 2014 and 2016 in Anhui Province,the water quality was explored.Using USEPA recommend the health risk assessment model,to analyze the drinking water health risks.ResultsIn 2014-2016 years,the overall qualified rate of water quality was 78.8%in Anhui Province.The qualified rate of dry season was slightly higher than wet season,and the difference was not statistically significant?P>0.05?;In the same year,the water quality qualified rate of different areas were compared,southern of Anhuiregion>middle of Anhui region>northern of Anhui region,there was difference of statistically significant during different areas?P<0.05?.The qualified rate of water quality in city level was higher than that in county level,the difference between 2015 and 2016 years was statistically significant?P<0.05?.In Anhui province,the total health risk of 5chemical carcinogens in drinking water does not exceed recommended value of ICRP(5×10-5/a),the health risk value of Cr6+was the highest among the 5 chemical carcinogen risk factors,the order of magnitude was 10-5;The total health risk of 11non-carcinogen in drinking water does not exceed recommended value of ICRP(5×10-5/a),the health risk value of fluoride was the highest among the 11 non-carcinogen risk factors,the order of magnitude was 10-5.ConclusionIn 2014-2016 years,the overall water quality of municipal water supply unit was acceptable in Anhui Province,but it should strengthened the management of water supply units,improved water production process,especially in the wet season,it should strengthened water quality monitoring,to ensure the safety of drinking water.The health risk value of Cr6+was the highest among the 5 chemical carcinogen risk factors,the order of magnitude was 10-5,the health risk value has below recommended value of ICRP.The health risk value of fluoride was the highest among the 11non-carcinogen risk factors,the order of magnitude was 10-5,the health risk value has below recommended value of ICRP.The health risk assessment model for water quality can be used to quantitatively analyze the health risk of various risk factors in drinking water.
