With the increasing demand of water resources in China,the exploitation and utilization of water sources are developed,resulting in serious water pollution and continuous decline in the quality of drinking water sources.Water source safety,which is related to safe drinking water,has become one of the restricting factors of social and economic development.There have been some researches on the quality warning system of lake-type drinking water source for surface water.However,it lacks a complete set of technical regulations.Therefore,it is significant to establish the water quality warning system for the lake-type drinking water source in order to guarantee the health and safety of drinking water.In this essay,a comprehensive automatic warning system and a visualization model will be constructed,consisting of water quality assessment,water quality prediction,water eutrophication degree and warning.The research results are as follows:(1)A joint evaluation method of drinking water quality is established.The single factor index and the comprehensive pollution index of water quality both have advantages and disadvantages.By combining their advantages,a joint evaluation method of drinking water quality can be created,which makes it possible to analyze the water quality on a more scientific and reasonable basis.First,the 109 evaluation indexes are divided into two categories,94 of which are defines as pollution factor I and the other 15 as pollution factor II.Next,the two categories are evaluated respectively and the final result are decided by the worse one.(2)The water quality prediction model of lake-type drinking water source is determined.The two methods of water quality prediction model are compared.Referring to data simulation,the outcome of gray GM(1,1)has larger errors and nonlinear data simulation is of low accuracy.By contrast,The BP neural network prediction model has higher accuracy with the fitting degree R of 0.99997,which can better meet requirements.Finally,the BP neural network prediction model is used as the water quality prediction model.(3)The water quality warning system is built.The system includes current water quality assessment,water quality prediction analysis and eutrophication assessment of the lake-type water.On the basis of water quality evaluation and prediction,the water quality warning system and the emergency treatments are established from the aspects of determining indicators,warning levels,warning signals and so on.Finally,all evaluation and warning level results will be sent to the relevant personnel ’s mailbox.(4)The software of water quality assessment and the warning system are created.Based on MATLAB,the new software of water quality evaluation and warning system are developed.This system can evaluate the water quality,predict the monitoring index data and determine the eutrophication degree of water by inputting the monitoring data.Next,a related warning response can be made according to the evaluation result and the evaluation result,as well as the warning level,will be sent to the relevant personnel by email.The visualization of the system is realized,which makes the whole process simple,fast and accurate.(5)The application of systemThe data of a specific reservoir is collected to verify the water quality warning system.The outcome of water quality evaluation is II and the eutrophication degree of nutrition is medium,which suggests that the conclusion is safety.Besides,by forecasting water quality,it comes to the same conclusion.As a result,the water quality warning system of lake-type drinking water source for surface water can be operated more easily and it can reflect the water quality condition in a more scientific,accurate and better way.
