In recent years,the diversion and export area of the interchange has becoming the traffic accident-prone road of multi-lane highway.The main reasons are not only the more lanes and heavy traffic characteristics of the multi-lane highway,but also the complex models and the large vehicle performance differences in the traffic flow.The lack of safe driving consciousness and drivers' unreasonable driving behaviors are also important in the phenomenon.This article analyzes accident situations and traffic conditions in the diversion and export area,segment and research this road section on different theories and propose targeted optimization recommendations.First of all,the reasons and the influencing factors of traffic accidents were analyzed from the accidents happened in the diversion and export area of the interchange of the multi-lane highway on the basis of research status at home and abroad on the diversion and export area.On the basis of above findings,the setting distance of AGS and the design parameters of deceleration lane in current specification were confirmed as the main reason of traffic accident-prone.Due to prepare for optimization,we surveyed the vehicle driving conditions in the road section.Secondly,a model which can simulate drivers' lane-change actions on the research road was built on the basis of cellular automata.The length of lane changing was calculated by the CA model and corrected according to ergonomics.The optimization of AGS was raised on the basis of above findings and the LLA-AGS setting distance.Then,the calculation formula for the length of deceleration lane was confirmed by the analysis of measured data,which took the Beijing-Shanghai highway as an example and was in accordance with the secondary deceleration theory.Finally,we designed several indoor simulation tests on the basis of above study and select reasonable parameters to raise the recommendation for the research road optimization and summarize the insignificancy in this research and the follow up research.
