China’s mountainous areas of geographical and complex,geomorphic change,resulting in high-speed highway can not cover,So the choice of secondary roads to achieve mountainous areas of the distribution and trunk functions,secondary roads with multiple combinations of vertical slope to form the growth,downhill,climbing road.When the heavy truck on the climbing road running,due to its own vehicle performance causes the phenomenon of its speed reduction,coupled with the mountain secondary road traffic composition is complex,the speed difference is large,therefore,seriously affected the mountain two Highway traffic capacity and traffic safety.This paper quantitatively analyzes the setting effect of climbing lane of mountain secondary highway to guide the scientific and reasonable setting of climbing lane.Analysis on traffic characteristics and influencing factors of climbing section of mountain secondary highway.In this paper,the characteristics of different types of vehicles in climbing sections are analyzed,and the factors influencing the traffic safety and traffic capacity of climbing sections are analyzed.Simulation model establishment.Through the traffic survey to get mountain secondary road climbing section of vehicles to follow the car,overtaking and other characteristics.In order to highlight the characteristics of the climbing section model in the secondary highway of mountainous area,the cellular automata is selected for modeling.This paper introduces the basic principle and various models of cellular automata,combines the survey data,adds the improved two-way two-lane overtaking model,adds the traffic volume and the speed factor in the boundary of the model,and establishes the climbing section of the secondary highway Cell automata model,and using MATLAB software to simulate the running state of the vehicle on the climbing section.Analysis of traffic volume,slope,slope length,speed,carts mixed rate of five components on its smooth ability.Climbing lane setting decision threshold.Through the statistical method of multiple regression,the comparative analysis shows that the percentage of the traffic capacity of the climbing section of the second grade highway in the mountain without climbing lane.On the mountain secondary road climbing lane set or not put forward the relevant basis.
