Design And Implementation Of Gigabit Ethernet Frame Decoder Based On FPGA

With the continuous development of space technology and Internet technology,the exploration of space is becoming more and more deeply.The space missions are more frequent and diversification,so the demand of the interoperability between networks become urgent.The ground network and space network seamless connection together to bulid the world information network system integration has become an inevitable trend.Whether it is near earth space exploration or deep space exploration,we must first solve the problem of interconnection,interoperability.In order to realize a more diverse and flexible space-two-way data transmission services.the Advisory Committee for Space Data Systems(CCSDS)propssed AOS protocol for transmission of video images and audio.It could also handle large-capacity and high-speed data,and reach the transmission of video,audio and image of realistic needs.Currently,CCSDS AOS standard has become an internatonal mainstream.most foreign space organizations have adopted CCSDS standard and theirs aerospace technology is more mature.In our country,because the aerospace market started late,most spacecraft are still using the traditional system,it's hard to reach the needs of complex data.Therefore,we need to adopt CCSDS AOS standard.This paper is based on this background,using CCSDS standards,we analyze the Gigabit Ethernet protocols,CCSDS AOS protocol,CCSDS network business and service level,and design a Gigabit Ethernet protocol conversion unit to realize the conversion between the Ethernet frame and the CCSDS AOS space link frame.This paper describes the overall design of the project,and introduces in detail the Gigabit Ethernet protocol conversion unit.We bulid a practical simulation experiment platform to test the frame decoder,and verify its correctness,finally achieve the expected goal.
