With the development of digital flexible assembly technology,automatic drilling & riveting system is widely used in aviation manufacturing industry,greatly improving the efficiency and quality of aircraft assembly.The automatic drilling & riveting system based on Gantry vertical machine tool is suitable for assembly of large parts of the fuselage with the properties of wide range of processing,high positioning accuracy.But at present,there is still a lack of automatic drilling & riveting equipment based on domestic CNC system.In order to fill the blank of the technology,it is necessary to carry out in-depth study on composite processing equipment with the functions of drilling and riveting.As a key technology of automatic drilling & riveting,the integrated control is an important guarantee for the efficient and orderly operation of the system.This paper mainly studies the research on control technology of compound machine tool.The main contents are as follows:1.According to the task requirements of drilling and riveting system,the hardware composition and working process of the system were analyzed and the upper and lower layer control system based on Ethernet and EtherCAT communication technology was proposed.From two aspects of hardware configuration and software platform,the design of overall control scheme of compound machine tool was finished.2.The motion control technology of closed-loop control and dual-axis synchronization in Huazhong CNC system was studied.Based on the NCUC bus and EtherCAT bus,the control system of the electrical components of the lower level system was designed in detail.3.Based on the separation of the interface layer and the logic layer,the overall development scheme of the software was designed.The Duilib technology was used to design the software interface with rich functions and convenient operation.Based on the idea of modularization,core functions of the software was developed.4.The overall control scheme and the scheme of machine precision compensation were validated on the platform of compound machine tool.The test results showed that the control system of compound machine tool could run stably,and the upper layer software could realize the function of integrated control effectively.By pitch error compensation,the positioning precision of X,Y,Z,A,B axis of the machine was respectively improved to 17.0μm,35.6μm,10.5μm,6.91 arc sec,6.53 arc sec.The method of Space-Mesh interpolation.for compound machine tool was proposed,and the location accuracy of TCP in X,Y and Z directions was increased by more than 34%,which meets the accuracy requirements of drilling.
