Automatic riveting technology is the key to the automation of aircraft assembly,which is of great significance to improving the level of aircraft manufacturing in our country and strengthening the capability of national defense.With the development of a certain type of machine,the wing wall panel of the machine is a double surface complex part,and the manual riveting can't meet the requirement.Therefore,the company based on its use now a U.S.GMECOR G4026-120 drilling and riveting machine produced by our company for new design and realization of the automatic drilling and riveting system,in order to satisfy the wing wall plate riveting process.Firstly,the paper hands up the resean of the problem of drilling machine by analysing the producing state of machine,and the paper explains the solution of that problem by modifiying the feed motion axis of the automatic drilling machine,changing the automatic rivet feeding mechanism,and redesigning automatic leveling units and control units based on dill obit position and rill bit vector..Secondly,this paper has made an anaiysis of overaii pian for the feed motion axis of the automatic drilling machine and illustrated the design of axis drive mode.Furthermore,it performed calculation for rigidity of the peripheral working frame and determined shape of the cross section of the cross beam.An analysis of mounting and fabrication process of the peripheral working frame is conducted.Swing A driving mechanism is designed.Third,this paper introduces design clue and rivet feeding method of automatic rivet feeding mechanism of bare-head rivet for the automatic drilling machie.After undergoing comprehensive assessment and comparison of rivet feeding mechanism,the latter one is eventually selected.The paper puts the focus on composition of vibrating rivet feeding mechanism and functions of each component.In addition,the mounting method as well as adjustment is illustrated.At last,an automatic leveling unit is designed based on drill obit position and drill bit vector.The paper introduces the composition of the automatic leveling unit and analyzes function of each component.It is focused on NC system module creation,method and leveling process of three-point leveling.In the process of thesis research,found in the wing wall plate automatic drilling and riveting in our country and abroad gap is quite large,foreign automatic drilling and riveting technology already quite mature,and in the form of a cure,in contrast,domestic wing wall plate automatic drilling and riveting is still in the developing process,is undergoing profound changes.Hope that through the research of this paper,which can provide some useful reference for automatic drilling and riveting technology in China,the hope of our country can develop their own automatic drilling and riveting equipment.
