As a control apparatus which frequently close and open electrical circuit,contactor is widely used in various control systems and other power distribution systems.The quality of contactor is related to the normal operation of whole automatic control system,so its reliability is very important.In this paper,we study on the key characteristic parameters of AC contactor,such as CJX2-9 AC contactor.Firstly,the used AC contactor electrical life test apparatus is introduced.Secondly,the characteristic parameters of the AC contactor are analyzed,which focus on the calculation of the arcing duration,the arcing energy and the arcing power.Comparing the variation of the arcing duration,the arcing energy,the arcing power,the accumulated arcing energy and the accumulated arcing power,the arcing duration,the accumulated arcing energy and the accumulated arcing power are determined as the key characteristic parameters which are affecting the life of AC contactor.Then,as one of the multivariate statistical analysis techniques,the basic theory of the Principal Component Analysis(PCA)and the concrete steps of modeling are learned.And cumulative percent variance method is used to determine the number of principal component variables.Finally,study of the arcing duration,the accumulated arcing energy and the accumulated arcing power of the CJX2-9 AC contactor are carried out,the principal component variables which represent most of the feature are obtained,defined as "energy component" and "time component",reducing the association between the variables.And the corresponding life prediction is conducted using neural network method. |
