In this paper, use ATMEL89S52 microcontroller designed permanent magnet contactor's intelligent control system, to achieve the action, detection, communication, display. The AC was commuted and filtered,then providing for the closing coil excitation current;Charge to the capacitor to prepare the necessary tripping coil excitation current. Use MOSFET and IGBT as switching devices of the opening and closing main circuit, partial pressure with the resistance measured capacitor voltage, the time of the opening and closing action send to LED to display.Use RS232 asynchronous serial communication to complete communications with the PC.
