The birth of permanent magnet contactor is a revolution in contactor technology at home and abroad.It's a new type of micro-power contactors just developed recently.Permanent magnet and electromagnet is combined organically. Simple structure, low power consumption, no noise, actuator speed, electronic control, etc., It's a new generation of energy saving appliances.It uses electromagnetic actuate,permanent magnet maintain,electronic control means to achieve the contactor's function. According to the keep way of it's position in the end,permanent magnetic actuator can be divided into bistable and monostable. Permanent magnet magnetic field can change the operating point, but it will not happen demagnetization phenomenon. The magnetic circuit inside the permanent magnet contactor follows Maxwell's equation, the voltage balance equation and the d'Alembert equations of motion, etc., These equations constitute the differential equations describing the dynamic characteristics.With the extensive application of micro-computers and the progress of modern electronic technology, intelligent electrical appliances in various sectors have been more and more widely used at home and abroad. In this paper, use ATMEL89S52 microcontroller designed permanent magnet contactor's intelligent control system, to achieve the action, detection, communication, display. The AC was commuted and filtered,then providing for the closing coil excitation current;Charge to the capacitor to prepare the necessary tripping coil excitation current. Use MOSFET and IGBT as switching devices of the opening and closing main circuit, partial pressure with the resistance measured capacitor voltage, the time of the opening and closing action send to LED to display.Use RS232 asynchronous serial communication to complete communications with the PC.
