Electromagnetic control marine relays is one of the common electrical marine components.It controls and protects the electric-drive equipments and electric power systems automatically by controlling the on-off state,which plays very important role in ships.The environmental conditions in the oceans which ship electrical equipment are exposed to are much poorer than that on the land.These harmful external conditions will cause bad contact,malfunction,damage or even failure in control relays and lead to very serious consequences.Therefore,it is significant to research the effect of swing on control marine relays.In this paper,the small DC electromagnetic control marine relay was researched.We studied the operating principle and working characteristics of the relays.Combined with the relevant experiments standard,We developed a control marine relay experiments scheme on the basis of the regular of ship swing.The test device was designed and the performance parameters such as contact resistance,time constant of the coil,pull time,release time and bounce time were detected in real time then experiments were carried out and experiment data was analyzed to obtain the influence of the swing on the performance parameters of marin relays.
