In China,determined method is taken as design method for asphalt pavement.But in fact,the actual working state and design state of asphalt pavement designed with the determined method are very different.So in order to make the design state more close to the actual situation,the stochastic behavior of design parameters should be considered,and the reliability theory should be introduced to the asphalt pavement design.The general program that can calculate reliability of asphalt pavement structure had been programmed based on Monte-Carlo method by using Matlab software.The stochastic behavior of traffic parameters(total equivalent axle),geometric parameters(each layer thickness)and structure parameters(each layer compression modulus,flexural modulus and cleavage strength)had been considered.The general program can be used to calculate reliability controlled by deflection and bending tensile stress when the layer number of asphalt pavement is less than or equal to 10.The data input,output,and storage can be achieved easily by using the general program.The program can be operated conveniently and its accuracy is well.The general program can be used to calculate reliability after asphalt pavement is designed.In order to analyze the sensitivity degree of reliability affected by stochastic parameter,the sensitivity program,which can be used to analyze the reliability sensitivity affected by traffic parameters,geometric parameters and structure parameters,had been also programmed on the basis of the general program.When the mean or variation coefficient of parameters is in different levels,the reliability can be calculated by using the sensitivity program,and the corresponding graph can be plotted.The result and graph can be stored and looked over conveniently.Every program was numbered and the summary program was formed.The summary program can call different programs by identify the number of each program.In this way,program can be operated more conveniently.At last,an asphalt pavement structural reliability was calculated,and the calculating result validated the correctness of the program.The reliability sensitivity,which was affected by mean or variation coefficient of traffic parameters,geometric parameters and structure parameters,was analyzed,the factor among three kind parameters which has the greatest effect on reliability was found.The equation between mean or variation coefficient of random parameters and reliability was fitted.
