Tire failure is the main reason which cause accident when load vehicle runs on doxwnhill roads. To analysis the factors that produce tire failure in detail, the 12.00R20 18PR load radial tyre was taken as the research object. The actual working condition was simulated during the road transportation using ABAQUS under the premise of f’ully considering the influence of simulation results under the material, geometry and state nonlinearity of radial tyre during the modeling process. The variation law of stress field and temperature field was derived. The main works are as follows:(1) The stress-strain curve of rubber material was obtained by tensile test on diff’erent rubber materials of 12.00R20 18PR load radial tyre, and the Yeoh model was used to characterize the mechanical properties of- rubber materials. The thermal conductivity, heat capacity and thermal diffusivity of the rubber were obtained by experiment research on thermo-physical parameters of the rubber.The density, energy loss factor and stress and strain parameters of the skeleton material were also obtained through experiment.(2) Under the establishment of 12.00R20 18PR load vehicle radial tyre finite element model, The stress variation law was analyzed under the process of rim tire assembly and inflation. And the variation of stress-strain was also analyzed under different sinking volumes.(3) The stress-strain field of the tire under static load and steady state rolling were analyzed and the tire heat generation rate was calculated based on the stress field. The tire temperature field was simulated according to the corresponding heat convection exchange coefficient. Finally, the distribution law of tire steady temperature field was obtained.(4) The stress and Temperature field variation law were studied under the condition of different speed, load, tire pressure and ground friction coefficient. And the reasonable working range was proposed when vehicle load runs on highway down hill roads... |
