With the continuous development of urbanization, the development and utilization of new urban areas has been increasing. The current landscape planning is lack of the consideration of the waterfront ecological environment, and it can easily lead to the fragmentation of the ecosystem. The landscape security pattern as a means of landscape ecological planning, determine the safety level of the structure through simulation analysis on different landscape ecological processes, has certain effects on the ecological environment protection and control of the overall landscape spatial structure. The overall ecological environment is complex of Guangzhou Baiyun Lake with rich waterfront landscape resources.Based on the related research domestic and abroad and the basic theory of landscape security pattern, taking Baiyun Lake in Guangzhou area as an example, exploring the theoretical system construction method of ecological security pattern. In this paper, mainly uses the method of theoretical research and demonstration analyze, including field investigation, literature analysis and the minimum cumulative resistance model, ecological suitability analysis and hydrological simulation analysis as the main research method of data analysis,Combined with characteristics of the present situation and planning of the study area, setting up corresponding security pattern in biology, rainwater and recreational for three different landscape ecological process level.Based on the results of the planning and design of the study area, the landscape planning guidance based on the different levels of safety level is proposed, which guides the development of landscape ecological planning and provide theoretical and technical support.
