| The Yuxi River in Yulin City is an outflow river located in the arid and semi-aridregion, the farming-pastoral fragile ecotone of northern China. The region is made upwith the features of fragile ecological environment, unstable landscape processes,complicated human processes and the other traits. This essay studies the Yuxi River,based on the ecological security pattern and landscape security pattern theory. The essaystarts from the analysis of Yuxi River, taking the approaches of implementing the fieldinvestigation and using the digital landscape model which is established by thegeological information system for analysis. It proposed the followings as the effectiveapproaches for the sustainable development of the Yuxi River landscape planning,which are establishing the different safe levels for the landscape safe pattern, recoveringand reconstructing the natural ecosystem, recovering the structures and functions of theriver ecosystems and establishing the fundamental ecological system service.The essay starts from the landscape ecology and landscape safe pattern theory,aiming at protecting the existing natural resource and ecosystem; and establishing theregional integral landscape safe pattern, which is established on the base of GIScomprehensive analysis in order to provide relevant materials for the subsequent projectplanning. The introduction part of this essay explains the research subjects, researchrange and research contents; proposes the aim and meaning of the project. This part alsobriefly explains the approach and procedure of the subject, highlights the innovationswithin the project and shows the project research diagram. Literature review makesstatement of the background theory formed by the landscape ecological safe pattern and explains the relationship between the background and the landscape safety pattern indetail. Making integrated statement of the domestic ecological safe pattern theory andanalyzing the classical case of the practical landscape ecological safe pattern. The bodypart of the essay starts from the watershed scale, analyzed aspects are as follows: theground water and the surface water system within the Yulin river basin; regionalbiological conservation safe pattern, regional cultural heritage recreation safe pattern,regional project against natural disasters and regional integrated landscape safe pattern;and also constructing the protective safe pattern for regional integrated water system.The essay then discusses about the river corridor of the Yuxi River. Analyzing thelandscape patches along the river and the river corridor, basing on the basic landscapepattern of patch gallery matrix. The essay makes explanations of the status quo andfeatures of the river, analyzing the structures and functions of Yuxi river’s eco-structure,ecological corridor and cultural heritage entertainment; and also puts forward therelevant planning strategies.As to the safe pattern construction aiming at the arid and semi-arid areas, the essayput forwards that the safe pattern of the regional integrated water system should take thegroundwater safe pattern into consideration, trying to alleviate the drought affecting bytaking control of the storm to supply the groundwater. For arid and half arid areassecurity landscape construction put forward four strategies: namely, to build watersystem framework for the city’s water system protection strategy, in order to integrateecological infrastructure and recreation of the green corridor strategy of urban publicspace, to integrate the "2+1" model of green corridor open strategy, the rainstorm floodregulation and management strategy. |
