Practical Technology Research On Outdoor Paving Of Natural Stones In The Background Of Sponge City

Outdoor pavement is the main component of the outdoor environment.People are inclined to perceive and understand the outdoor environment design style and quality byjudging the external appearance.Stones are widely used for ground pavement because of its high compressive strength,long durability,abundant resources,wide distribution,convenientacquisition,and low cost.However,nowadays,designers generally do not pay attention to outdoor stone pavement,the rules and standards of applying stone pavement technologies to construction are not yet mature,problems keep emerging increasingly.This research mainly consists of the following parts:(1)Basic concepts and characteristics of natural stones(2)Types,characteristics,and ways of pavement using natural stone materials.Summary of the stone pavement theories,based on which commonly used technologiesof pavement insquares,roads,gardens,and steps are summed up and good practices are given(3)Concept,significance,and necessity of permeable pavement in the modern urban outdoor space,practice of permeable pavement using natural stones,TGP system,materials at each layer,structure,and function(4)Project overview and design strategy of the sponge road,which is a demonstration project of Huaqiao University Xiamen campusThe paper puts forward to pavement design strategies for different types of outdoor venues,and describes how to come up with a reasonable and complete design in each design process,aiming to provide reference to future stone outdoor pavement designs.
