Design Research On The Artistic Landscape Walls In Mountainous City Environment

China boasts vast territory and abundant resources.Complicated geographical environment and different climate conditions form unique characteristic landscapes of various regions.Many regions are generated near the mountain and constructed by the river.Mountainous city is the most special representative.In order to construct people’s living spaces,public spaces,whether it is a building,a road,or a park,derive various kinds of walls.Walls in all sizes can be seen everywhere in mountainous cities.Along with the continuous development of social economy in recent years,people’s life concepts have gradually changed.People start to develop healthy living habits,pursue comfortable living environment,and improve their spiritual outlooks.Undoubtedly,residents who live in mountainous cities also have the same pursuits and yearnings.In this case,people who live in mountainous cities gradually begin to pay attention to the artistic design of landscape walls.The purpose in doing so is not only to artistically transform the existing landscape walls in mountainous cities for building a safe and comfortable environment,but also to increase the expression scope of regional culture and urban culture.In terms of landscape design,how to effectively the fracture surface of existing sites or additional landscape walls to create comfortable and pleasant environmental space is the emphatically studied issue of this paper.Taking the artistic design of landscape walls as the breakthrough point,this paper exploratively studies the design approaches of artistic landscape wall in mountainous city environment.Through investigating and analyzing the current situation of landscape walls in mountainous cities,this paper summarizes the existing problems in landscape walls in mountainous cities.For instance,form lacks diversity;walls are short of artistry;virescence lacks novelty.By thoroughly investigating the artistic design of landscape walls in mountainous city environment,this paper further proposes a set of scientific,reasonable and perfect design strategy and method of artistic landscape wall in based on mountainous city environment.Chapter One is the introduction.This part not only detailedly elaborates the research background,research purpose and research significance,but also introduces the research status of this issue at home and abroad as well as the achieved research results in detail.Chapter Two clarifies relevant concepts and basic theories of artistic landscape walls and sketches the evolution processes of artistic walls at home and abroad in history as well as the connections between walls and spaces.At last,this chapter analyzes the relationship between art and economy,pointing out that economic development is the artistic intervention in urban space.By investigating and analyzing the current situation of landscape wall in mountainous city environment,this paper clarifies the existing problems of landscape wall in mountainous city environment and influential factors of design of artistic landscape wall.Chapter Four analyzes the design strategy and method of artistic landscape wall in mountainous city environment.Taking all factors into full considerations,this chapter proposes the design principle of artistic landscape wall in mountainous city,the visual elements of design as well as the design strategy and method;moreover,this chapter also carries out case analyses of design methods respectively.Chapter Five is the case analysis of the design of artistic landscape wall in mountainous city environment.This thoroughly analyzes the case of artistic landscape walls of inscriptions on precipices of Guo Xuanchang Sculpture Park in Chongqing City.Combining the design thoughts in the aforesaid,this chapter obtains the design thought of the artistic landscape wall.Chapter Six is the conclusion.This chapter briefly summarizes the contents of this graduation project and comes to corresponding contents,providing directions for the further researches.
