Comprehensive Traffic Planning System Research In Small And Medium-sized Cities Based On Green Transportation Concept

With urbanization and motorization development,along with a large number of medium and small cities growing,the status of the small and medium-sized cities in the major economic circle has become increasingly important.Continuous economic and social development,urban population is increasing,the surge in the number of vehicles,urban traffic problems have become increasingly prominent.Traffic congestion,air pollution,energy consumption,noise pollution and other traffic problems have become an important factor restricting the development of the city.Under the context of sustainable development in small and medium urban transport planning needs to be pay more attention to the human factor,the original planning concepts should be from "car-based" thought to the ideas of "people centered" for change in transition.In the city’s integrated transport planning to take reasonable consideration of population,urban land use,environmental protection,energy conservation,safety,efficiency and other factors,highlighting the concept of sustainable development in Traffic planning,thereby producing a "green transport" concept."Green Transport" aimed at reducing the use of personal motor vehicles,actively promote walking,cycling and public transport and other slow traffic as the preferred way to travel to reach the effect of reducing the use of high-polluting motor vehicles,and to promote the use of more clean fuel and environmentally friendly vehicles.Green transportation as sustainable development in the transport sector applications,reflects the people-centered thinking.That can effectively alleviate traffic congestion and reduce environmental pollution generated by traffic,saving social resources,reducing energy consumption,and then deposited into a fair and harmonious society.This study will focus on small and medium cities now in the process of development that had faced various problems through,breaking the traditional method of integrated transport planning to meet the limitations of merely increasing traffic demand,environmental and resource constraints as the green concept into small cities development strategy,medium and small cities to create their "green" integrated transport planning system,resource,environment and sustainable transportation.This article will be carried out by conventional integrated transport planning method reflection summarizes the current problem of small and medium urban transport development presence,combined with the small city of small-scale,the status quo of urban land mostly centralized layout,residents travel a short distance,average travel more often,when consumption is low such as their own characteristics,the green transportation concepts into integrated transport planning system,and build the overall framework of the small urban green transportation system.And selecting Hengshui City as a green transportation planning cases,developing a plan of reasonable traffic survey,analyzing of the survey data and the characteristics of the trips of the city residents,summarized the existing road traffic situation and slow traffic in the city,from public transport,pedestrian traffic,bicycle traffic,motor vehicle transportation and other aspects to design scientific and reasonable plan.
