Research On The Commercial Reuse Of Historic Buildings

After nearly 30 years of rapid urbanization in China,the stage of large-scale demolitionand reconstruction is over,and we are entering a new period.In the new era,people pay more attention to the construction of urban culture,and the importance and protection of traditional historical culture.historical architecture is not only the space of people activity places,but also carries a certain period of development of social culture,cultural background and historical traces.This can arouse people's memory of the place and the continuation of the urban context.In this context,the protection and reuse of historic buildings has become the focus of attention in the new era.However,the purely restorative in historical building protection is applicable to the architectural legacies.If the general historical buildings are simply repaired,the cost will be high,and the historic buildings will lose their significance as a building.Therefore,the commercial reuse on historical buildings can not only protect the historical value,but also be able to fully play as building its own value,to restore its vitality.The particularity of the commercial reuse of historic buildings lies in the contradiction between the interests and protection.The main research content of this paper is how to solve the contradiction with the design method and how to protect the historical building.This paper takes the protection and reuse of the historic buildings in the city as the breakthrough point,and through a large number of foreign historical building commercial reuse principle and practice cases to explore the method of commercial reuse of historic buildings.The main contents include four parts: The first part is the research background,purpose and significance,as well as the scope of the study and the definition of the concept;The second part is about the research on the protection and reuse of historic buildings at home and abroad,the characteristics of commercial buildings and the necessity of commercial reuse of historic buildings;The third part is the main part of this paper,it analyze and summarize design strategy combined with the relevant case through the analysis of the influencing factors and re-use principles.It mainly includes pro-planning,the external environment and the building monomer strategy.In the fourth part,the author tries to design the Dalian Library of fifteen.Make a design through the research and the proposed strategy.
