The Study Of A New Detection System For Phenylketonuri Screening

Phenylketonuria causes brain damage and progressive mental disorder due to lack of phenylalanine hydroxylase in the liver.If the infant is born early did not receive timely diagnosis and treatment,will lead to mental retardation in children is not reversible,so it is very important for the early detection of.Based on the principle of high sensitivity,miniaturization,low power consumption and low cost,this paper designs a new system for the generation and detection of fluorescence.Main points in this article are listed as follows:1.This paper designed a fluorescence excitation and detection system.The UV ultra-bright LED as light source,and designing circuit to guarantee the stability of the power source;Using and a photo multiplier tube CR131 which is of high sensitivity for measurement.2.The design of data acquisition and control system based on two thought.One of the design methods based on pc104 bus structure,using ADT600 data acquisition module and PC/104 module,a high-performance,compact data acquisition and control system for embedded and portable applications.Software based on WINDOWS2000 operating system,using VC++6.0 prepared.Two is based on the low power MCU AT89S52,using a 12 bit AD converter AD1674 analog to digital conversion,through the RS-232 communication with the PC machine.The software consists of computer software and PC software,the software uses the C51 programming language to achieve single-chip data acquisition and control,PC software uses VC++6.0 as development environment,the realization of human-computer interaction and interface display function.The program can further reduce costs.3.Designed hole board system for scanning and hard ware circuits of the detecting system.Adopted two marching electromotor for locating,realizing large-scale screening once.The instrument has the function of scanning and driving,initial positioning,and can realize the function of pretreatment and A/D conversion,so it has the function of real-time data acquisition.4.Designed experiment to prove the feasibility of the system.The instrument has the advantages of simple operation,stable performance,accurate result and low cost.It provides a new method for rapid screening of PKU in China.
