The wet electrostatic precipitator is the terminal equipment that governs the atmospheric pollutant of coal power plant, can realize “near zero discharge” of flue gas pollutant, and demands high reliability and 20 years of service life. With the constant improvement of the atmospheric pollutants emission standards, the demand of wet electrostatic precipitator is increasing gradually, the failure problems also gradually revealed. Therefore, this paper is based on the function harm analysis, and the systematic failure study of the wet electrostatic precipitator is carried out.The main results are as follows:1)The working principle, structure form and development status of wet electrostatic precipitator are introduced in detail, emphatically to the equipment failure mode, fault reason, weak links, and improvement measures were analyzed, and provide technical support for its reliability analysis.2)In order to wet electrostatic precipitator system reliability analysis, this paper according to the function of each system components, analyzed the function harm(FHA),then on this basis,in turn, has carried on the failure mode and effect analysis(FMEA)and fault tree analysis(FTA),and finally established the failure reporting, analysis and corrective action system(FRACAS).The application of failure analysis methods, not only solved the theoretical data lack of problems in the research of product failure, simple and flexible implementation process at the same time, for the failure analysis of complex systems,or new product development are applicable,to improve the reliability of products, with a continuous improvement, has very strong realistic guiding significance.
