In recent years,the multi rotor aircraft are developing rapidly and widely used in various industries.Generally,multi rotors work at low altitude and low speed conditions,requiring the propeller have high performance at low altitude and low speed conditions.Domestic multi rotor aircraft mostly use fixed wing propeller,the advantage is that they are developed and easy to purchase.However,the fixed wing propeller usually operated at high altitude and high speed.Its propeller is used to provide the thrust of the forward flight,not suitable for the multi rotor working condition.The foreign company has noticed that,and developed propellers special for the multi rotor working condition.However,there is still no theoretical design of the article.In this paper,we are going to design a propeller with high performance base on t-motor propeller and suitable for multi rotor working condition,also the aerodynamic characteristics of the isolated propeller are analyzed,mainly to do the following work:(1)Complete the geometric model and parametric design of the propeller.Use the entity propeller as the research object,obtain its 3D geometry model by reverse engineering,also obtain the propeller various parameters such as airfoil coordinates,chord length and pitch angle distribution,on the basis of the propeller parameters,complete the parametric design of propeller through the construction of endwall profile,flow surface,airfoil and stacking law of airfoil.(2)Build a numerical calculation method for the propeller base on CFD.Including fast structured mesh partitioning for rotating machinery,and the Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model of Reynolds number average method,SIMPLE algorithm is used to iterative,also use the central difference scheme to solve the 3-D Reynolds averaged N-S equations.(3)Use the numerical simulation method we have built to study the propeller characteristics in hover,also do the static tension torque test on the entity propeller,verify the accuracy of the numerical simulation method with the experimental value,and build the foundation for the later design of high performance propeller.(4)Design the propeller aerodynamic shape based on CFD numerical Simulation,mainly by changing the propeller pitch angle distribution,chord length distribution,airfoil configuration and airfoil stacking law four geometrical parameters,analysis the influence patterns of various parameters change on the propeller thrust and power law,and then use the orthogonal test method to combine the good parameters together.Complete the design of new propeller and the expansion ratio propeller with high performance.
