| The special tunnel structure which is open at both ends and closed in the middle,results in a huge difference in the brightness inside and outside the tunnel,and makes the driver’s psychological and psychological identification and response barriers,affecting the driver’s correct traffic perception within the tunnel.Therefore,to study the tunnel lighting based on the driver’s reaction time to identify the obstacle,will be more in line with the driver’s requirements of visual perception,to ensure traffic safety,improve the quality of tunnel lighting at the same time,to reduce the energy consumption of tunnel lighting.Based on the analysis of the characteristics of tunnel lighting and the basic theory of driver vision,this paper focuses on the important role of driver’s visual performance in the process of tunnel traffic information cognition,and determines the reaction time of driver’s identification to obstacles as driver’s visual performance characterization parameter,which is well in line with the driver’s visual adaptation law,and meet the needs of the paper and experimental scientific requirements.Driver vision and tunnel lighting simulation experiment platform was built,the experimental test software was developed,the different lighting environment within the tunnel was simulated,the human visual reaction time was replaced by the retention time of the sight mark on the screen.Through the self-designed the reaction time test system based on the projection system,the reaction time of the driver to identify the obstacle in different tunnel lighting conditions was collected.Based on the analysis of a large number of experimental data,the quantitative relationship between the reaction time of the driver and the environmental parameters such as the brightness of the tunnel,the light source spectrum and the eccentricity of the angle of view were obtained.The reaction time of the driver’s central vision and peripheral vision in a low-light environment was analyzed respectively,according to the binary theory of human visual,the critical threshold of driver’s visual adaptability was put forward.It was recommended that in the tunnel lighting,in order to meet meet the driver’s safety and visual minimum comfort,the minimum lighting index of any area of the tunnel should not be less than 0.22m/cd,which gave the experimental basis to the tunnel lighting standard specification research andestablishment,and had important practical significance and engineering value. |
