Research On Industrial Design Process Management Of New Product Development Of Small And Medium Enterprises

As the productive force growth,the products offer in the market are very rich.Product homogeneity has made the competition intense and hard to satisfy the demand of the consumers.Whether the new product is successfully developed or not is directed relate to the sustainability development of the enterprises,and the new product development is the key issue of enterprises’ design and management.Design management in industrial design is an emerging subject.It is not only an industrial design but also combines interdisciplinary design,management knowledge and new idea.However,there is no management design system that focus on industrial design.And the design management within the small and medium-sized enterprises to ensure the success of new product development design is particularly important.Therefore,this subject,which focuses on the development of new product development of small and medium-sized industrial design process management,has important theoretical value and practical application prospectsThis paper explores the possibility of incorporating lead user theory into industrial design management.We have chosen small and medium sized industrial design enterprises as our target for incorporating lead user theory,facilitating their participation in the steps of designing this management system to ensure the innovativeness and practicality of the lead users participating in this development.We have also analyzed these small and medium sized industrial design enterprises and proposed management plan for their integrated new product development designing process.Furthermore,we have ascertained these enterprises’ needs in the industrial design management system through our analysis of them,and provided these lead users with a complete procedure of how they will participate in this design process.Then,we have combined workflow management techniques and Petri Net technology research industrial design process management,building upon Petri Net’s industrial design process management’s workflow model.At last,based on previous theory analysis,we offer the general workflow chart for this industrial design process management system,establish the industrial design process management system’s general structure and functional modules,and finish the development of the system’s partial module to verify the accuracy of the theory and whether we can fulfill the needs of the small and medium industrial enterprises for design process management.This paper brings a new system to the current small and medium enterprises’ new product development process,providing systemized,structuralized and process-oriented industrial design process management theories and tools,helping these enterprises increase their efficiency and product quality,bringing strength to the growth of these enterprises.
