The traditional structural seismic method is to increase the size of sections to resist the function of earthquake,while whose performance of self-regulation is low,difficult to repair,and not economic.Energy dissipation structure refers to installing the metal,viscous dampers,etc inside the structure,so as to replace the partly deformation,energy-consuming and damage of the structure.So the main structure is more durable and safe after the earthquake compared with the traditional structure.With the popularization and wide application of the advanced technology in energy dissipation and damping,the performance of additional single damper is becoming more and more mature,but the performance of the compatibility when the two dampers are used together,is not perfect.In view of this situation,the author firstly calculate the amounts of both viscous dampers and metal dampers separately which meet the target displacement reduction rate Rd by using the method of Performance Curve Method.And then I have combined the amounts of single dampers which have been calculated previously,and calculate and test performance repeatedly by the method of Time-procedure Response Analysis and to find the best compatible combination whose performance of vibration damping is better than a single damper,which can both give play to the advantages of an additional single damper and can avoid the shortcomings of single damper.Viscous Fluid Damper(VFD)is a kind of velocity-dependent damper,and the damping force and displacement are out of phase in the process of liquid flow(phase difference and approximation),so as to form a hysteretic energy-dissipating curve which approximately resembles a shape of oval to achieve the purpose of energy dissipation and vibration damping.Meanwhile,the viscous dampers have some advantages like not provide additional stiffness,less affected by the excitation frequency and temperature,so that the viscous dampers are widely used in the design of energy-dissipation.Metal dampers mainly produce hysteresis when the metal is at the state of elastic-plastic for energy consumption,with the advantages of easy to get material,easy to produce,easy to install,with high durability and low price.The metal damper can provides additional stiffness and additional damping for the building structure,which consumes the energy entering into structure by taking advantage of the good hysteretic performance of the steel to protect the safety of the building structure.Because of its significant effect of shock absorption,it is used for the vibration control on new buildings and for the maintenance and reinforcement of old buildings.Also,the soft steel dampers have some good characteristics like stable hysteresis,good low-cycle fatigue properties and are not affected by the environment and temperature,so it is widely used and enjoys a broad prospect in the practical application of engineering.In general,metal dampers are suitable for all types of building structures.However,for metal energy-consuming devices,the stronger the energy-consuming performance,the greater requirement of the relative displacement of the energy-consuming devices.Therefore,the metal energy-consuming devices are more suitable for flexible structures.1.In this paper,a 20-story steel frame structure model is established.The stiffness distribution of the 20-story steel frame model is obtained by setting the structural self-vibration period and the floor stiffness distribution coefficient.The shear force calculated by the Japanese normative calculation is compared with the shear force calculated by the domestic vibration model.The results of the two methods are very close.Using the self programming,the BCJ L2 seismic wave is used to analyze the original structure,and the displacement angle between the original structure and the interlayer displacement does not meet the target requirement.2.The structure of the metal damper,you can significantly reduce the main structure of the interlayer displacement,interlayer displacement angle,making the displacement reduction rate to achieve the target value requirements,we can see the metal dampers have a good energy shock absorption effect.The structure can be used to control the absolute displacement of the structure,the relative displacement between the layers and the maximum acceleration.The number of dampers configured with the damping performance curve method can effectively reduce the deviation between the lower layers of the ground motion action,thus avoiding the earthquake damage in some layers.Through the performance curve method,the number of dampers in the main structure of the multi-particle system can be effectively configured,which eliminates the need for a large number of computational processes that need to be tried and tested in the past.There is a certain practical significance of the project.3.The original structure in the use of two kinds of dampers.The maximum interlayer displacement of the metal damper floor is less than the maximum interlayer displacement when the metal damper is used alone,and the maximum interlayer displacement of the viscous damper floor is greater than the maximum interlayer displacement when the viscous damper is used alone.The lower floor of the layout of the viscous dampers,the upper floor layout metal dampers can effectively control the structure of the acceleration.In the lower part of the structure cast viscous dampers,the upper 2/3 floor cast metal damper,can effectively play the metal dampers to reduce the maximum displacement between the advantages of layers,but also to avoid a separate metal damper The increase in acceleration.4.The structure of each layer with only a single damper damping performance is better than the structure of each layer with two additional dampers,we can see that the subsequent engineering practice,without blind pursuit of the number of additional dampers to achieve the most Excellent shock absorption effect.Only in the structure of the next 1/3 floor cast viscous dampers,the structure of the upper 2/3 floor cast metal dampers can make metal and viscous dampers to achieve the best synergistic effect.
