About 80%of the faults or accidents can be reflected in the vibration signal,and the fault diagnosis is the most widely used method.With the increasing of hydraulic turbine equipment safety and reliability requirements of the power industry,the vibration analysis put forward higher requirements,which requires unit transient and non steady operation mode of transient vibration and non stationary vibration signal feature extraction and analysis.The existing vibration signal acquisition means that the frequency domain is low,and the time constant is large,can not realize the rapid and accurate acquisition of vibration signal.This paper from the vibration faults of turbine generator unit of presents a synchronous generator stator electrical signals from the extraction of the mechanical vibration fault feature of the new method,discusses the relationship between mechanical failure and electrical signal,for a new fault diagnosis method is put forward to lay the foundation.In this paper,the background to the study of the correlation analysis,proposes the significance of diagnosis of electrical quantities;secondly on typical vibration faults of generator rotor mechanism was studied.Analysis the fault reason,gets the fault characteristics,design can realize the fault type;again according to the electrical and mechanical dynamics analysis,focuses on the analysis of rotor imbalance fault of synchronous generator no-load voltage characteristics of that theory of electrical fault characteristics;finally in the model 72-54-3 of convex pole synchronous generator prototype test,design rotor imbalance fault,FFT analysis that the vibration and electrical characteristics,compared with the theoretical results obtained the fault feature.Finally qualitative analysis of the rotor unbalance electrical characteristics is the three-phase voltage waveform spectrum characteristics:frequency is two frequency,amplitude and unbalance amount G is proportional to.With the frequency of 50HZ as an example,through the data processing and analysis,the experimental results are consistent with the theoretical analysis.Through the analysis of other types of mechanical failure,such as bearing misalignment fault and stator electromagnetic vibration fault,can think extracted from synchronous generator stator electrical signal in the mechanical vibration fault feature of the new method is effective and with the traditional vibration diagnostic sensitivity almost even more sensitive.This method of can for synchronous generator downtime provides a new idea for synchronous generator unit vibration signal opens the electrical dimension characterization methods,and based on electromechanical information fusion of synchronous generator unit fault diagnosis provides theoretical basis.At the same time,it can also reduce the investment cost of the equipment of the hydropower station,and improve the economic efficiency.
