A new type of centrifuge rotor is made of new composite materials.It is quite different from the composite material centrifuge with metal liner rotor in the terms of thermal performance,and makes the temperature distribution of centrifuge rotor of the new type different from the previous studies.A better temperature distribution will enhance the flow circulation driven by the temperature field in the rotor.It is important to study the temperature distribution and the influence factors of centrifuge rotor.In this work,the heat transfer situation of the new type of composite material centrifuge and the related parameters have been studied.The physical model is established,and the calculation model is established based on ANSYS software.The centrifuge rotor temperature distribution is calculated andits curves are drawn.The influence factors of the centrifuge rotor temperature distribution areanalyzed.The range and magnitude of the effect of each influence factor is defined.The temperature distribution of the rotor side wall of the centrifuge is obviously deviated from the linear.There are two high temperature zones in the vicinity of the scoops but central rotor temperature is low.The highest point of the rotor side wall temperature appears near the upper scoop.The upper and lower caps temperature gradient is small,and the highest temperature of the caps is at the outer diameter of the covers.The temperature distribution of the rotor side wall tends to be gentlewith the increase of thermal conductivity of the rotor material,and the overall temperature decreases.The upper rotor temperature decreases with the increase of the emission rate of the end cap and the molecular pump.The overall temperature of the rotor is decreased with the increase of the outer sleeve and the rate of the rotor,and the temperature of the side wall of the rotor increases with the decrease of the emissivity of the reflector plate.The upper and the bottom temperature of the rotor is decrease with the decrease of the boundary temperature.The optimized molecular pump,the reflection plate and the water jacket position and size are determined.With the increase of the power consumption ratio of the upper and lower branches,the lower part of the rotor temperature is decreased and the upper temperature is increased.
