Evaluation Of Ningbo Urban Road Landscape

Urban road, an important urban linear space, is the dominant intent element of a city to people. Urban road landscape not only embodies the city's environmental quality and appearance, the function and form of its bearing will deeply affect the city's harmony and vitality. With the continuing construction and development of Ningbo, and the constantly improvement of material and spiritual needs of the citizens, the requirements of road environment quality is continuously updated. Therefore, the theoretical research and practice of urban road landscape need to be given more attention. The above is study background.In order to do a good job in the future work of urban road landscape, this thesis takes Ningbo urban road landscape as main research object. On the base of landscape ecology, design aesthetics, environment psychology and other subjects, this thesis makes analysis research and comprehensive evaluation according to Ningbo urban road status. The thesis puts forward the corresponding improvement suggestions for the deficiency of the present situation. It also discusses the overall strategy of how to optimize Ningbo urban road landscape quality. Finally, using modern landscape design ideas, the design evaluation will be put in a practical case of urban road landscape design in Ningbo.This thesis is divided into six parts. Firstly, the thesis introduces the research object, scope and methods of the study and research status. Next, the history and present situation of urban road landscape design at home and abroad are introduced, and some excellent road design cases are listed. Then, the urban road landscape characteristics, design principles and methods are summarized, including the changes of urban road landscape design in the new era. Part three introduces the landscape evaluation methods and development trend, discusses the meaning of urban road landscape evaluation, and some of the content that needs to clear about urban road landscape evaluation. The fourth part introduces the urban planning and construction basic conditions of study area, Ningbo. The fifth part of this thesis is to introduce the research methods. After field trip and surveys, part five also demonstrates the analysis and evaluation of Ningbo urban road landscape through five index points—security, functionality, aesthetics, local features and ecological assessment. Part six studies the advantages and problems existing in depth, puts forward to several targeted improvement suggestions, and concludes reasonable overall optimized strategies. Finally, the author will transform one of the investigated roads, to verify the analysis and conclusions of the previous article. The eighth chapter is the summary of the results obtained, and pointed out the study inspiration points during the course.
