Nowadays, video surveillance has been widely used on warships. Ships' posture will change when sailing with the effect of waves, wind and other interference factors, Of course the surveillance video of the screen will have a change. As a result, A question comes to be solved that how to maintain the stability of the video screen. At present, current domestic and international research on the stabilization and Cloud Terrace video stability augmentation focuses on image processing, In this paper it will be mainly discussed that using a MEMS gyroscope and an accelerometer to detect ships' gestures and analyzing its signal by microprocessor to obtain data,which can drive brushless motor to control the movement of Cloud Terrace, so as to increase the stability of their captured images.The camera tracking the target which using in ship should to be rotated in the horizontal and vertical directions in order to obtain accurate and stable video images, the subject will reach the target by detecting the ship's security posture,controlling the Cloud Terrace operation within the effective range and at last achieving stable picture of the control objectives. These will make us collect more accurate and rich information in a more direct and convenient way. Firstly, it introduces the present situation and development processes abroad MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometer in this paper, and secondly it analyzes how to maintain the stability of the video screen combining with the working principle and internal structure of the Cloud Terrace. Lastly, according to these features the Cloud Terrace motion compensation scheme is proposed.In view of the above ideas, this paper uses STC15F2K60S2 as the main controller,mainly including three parts. The first one is the module of detecting the posture of the ship and getting the specific data,which can be as the basic data of motion compensation. Using MPU6050 as the main ship attitude sensor module and dynamic Kalman filter both to ensure fast and stable data acquisition, and to determine the data not to drift during the long testing process. The second one is the module of driving the Cloud Terrace. Inputting PWM signal to STC15F2K60S2 to drive two motors in horizontal and vertical direction timely maintaining stability of the video image. The third one is placing two encoders behind motors to detect the speed. Finally, debugging and analyzing the various detection module in Cloud Terrace machine samples. A system of warship's Cloud Terrace video stability augmentation will be completed after reaching the desired effect.
