Switched reluctance motor has many advantages,such as simple structure,wide speed range,and so on.It has been widely used in many fields.Each phase of dual channel switch reluctance motor is comprised with two windings,which can be independently controlled.The independent windings will effectively improve the application range of switched reluctance motor in high reliability fields such as aerospace.Aiming at the application requirement of switched reluctance motor in high reliability domain,this paper researches on the optimal design and fault tolerant technology of dual channel switched reluctance motor,the main research work is as follow:Firstly,the basic structure and working principle of dual channel switched reluctance motor are analyzed,and the variation law oftheinductance and torque variation law in dual channel switched reluctance motor are studied in the view of energy.Based on the analysis,the mutual coupling law between the two windings of the dual redundancy motor motor is studied,by which the mathematical model is established for the dual channel switched reluctance motor.Combined with the traditional design method of AC motor and the structure characteristics of dual channel switched reluctance motor,the design method of the basic electromagnetic size for dual channel switched reluctance motor is presented.Secondly,based on the analysis of the electromagnetic properties in the double channel switch reluctance motor,the influence of the structure parameters on the performance of the motor is researched by using finite element simulation software,by which the optimal parameters for output torque of double channel switch reluctance motor is discussed.And the effect of turn-on angle and turn-off angle on the output torque of the motor is also discussed.Thus optimization method of the dual channel switched reluctance motor is summed up.Thirdly,the fault tolerant technology of the winding fault in the double channel switched reluctance motor is studied.Based on the research of electromagnetic characteristics in the switched reluctance motor under the fault of single phase,two phase and three-phase winding,the fault tolerant operation mechanism of dual channel switched reluctance motor under different winding faults is studied.By the simulation experiment,the low-speed performance and high-speed performance of the double channel switch reluctance motor are analyzed,which is drived by asymmetrical half bridge.Through the simulation experimental data verify the fault-tolerant operation feasibility of dual channel switched reluctance motor drive system under different winding faults.Finally,a dual channel switched reluctance fault-tolerant motor is developed in this paper,and the experimental test platform of the dual channel switch reluctance fault-tolerant motor drive control system is set up.The static test experiment on the motor resistance,inductance and torque angle characteristics and dynamic test experiment on the load characteristics and efficiency characteristics of the motor are completed in the experimental platform.By the comparison between experimental data and simulation results,the correctness of the theoretical analysis is verified.
