Whether marine cable capable can work reliably is directly related to the safety of the ship and people on board.Due to the ship sailing on the sea for a long time,cable's working conditions are often much more severe than on land.Especially for ocean sailing ship,sailing may experience during the process of high temperature,high humidity,salt fog,oil and other diverse environment.These factors will have some adverse effect on the mechanical and physical properties,electrical performances of marine cable,and accelerate the aging.Conduct research on aging degradation of marine cables in the marine environment of South China Sea is of great significance.This paper designed the acceleration test of marine cable.Based on the environmental test data,we researched the correlation between the single-factor artificial test method and the outdoor exposure test,and the correlation between the combined test method and the outdoor exposure test.We further calculated the combined test method acceleration factor.The main contents of this paper can be summarized as fowllows in three parts:First of all,this paper introduced the main influencing factors of the marine cable using environment and the influence mechanism.This part briefly introduced the classification method of marine cable and the basic structure of cable.It discussed the influencing factors to marine cables,of high temperature,humidity and solar radiation in the marine environment of the South China Sea.The reasons for the selection of various artificial aging test methods and combined test methods were also analyzed in this part.Second,Choosing accelerate methods and designing test condition.This part introduced the survey of the South China Sea environment climate data.According to the results of the survey,it analyzed of the acceleration program selection and selection of key performance parameters,with the marine cable insulation resistance,tensile strength,elongation at break as the main research performance parameters.This part also described in detail the conditions of several single factor tests such as hot-humid test,salt-fog test,light aging test,and combined aging test.In this part,it also introduced the kinds of marine cables,grouping method,test equipment and test methods.Third,analyzing test data,researching the correlation of different test methods,calculating the combined test method acceleration factor.Took advantage of performance data of the South China Sea outdoor exposure test and performance data of artificial simulation test,it was founded that combined test method had better correlation than single-factor artificial test method with the South China Sea outdoor exposure test.Based on the correlation of evaluation results,this paper calculated acceleration fact of the combines test method in this project.Above analysis results can be further used for evaluating cables used ship in the South China Sea environment.It can also provide research foundation for further study on marine cable after aging performance parameters change,the research for correlation of test methods and the law of material acceleration facts.
