In order to make sure the operation safety and economy when airline run civil aviation planes in a high plateau airport,the EOSID needs to be researched and designed.Due to the complexity of high plateau terrain,widely distributed tall mountains,thin atmosphere,the aircraft aerodynamic performance and engine performance are all faced with a more serous test.Currently when EOSID is designed,the beacon signal shielding factors has not been considered,however,once engine out happens,the plane can not fly along EOSID rigidly until it can receive the guide of beacon signal,so that it can avoid the high obstacles,then insure the safety operation of plane in a high plateau airport.Based on this,the signal shielding factor will be regarded as one of the main basic factors in the EOSID study in this paper.The EOSID design specification,design elements and design thought are studied at first in this paper.The take-off distance and departure flight path after one engine out are researched in detail,the relevant formulas are given.The three parameters,climb gradient,climb rate,accelerating factor about departure flight path are analyzed.The EOSID obstacle assessment rules,the choice of the ways of turning and how to make the decision point are also introduced.According to the characteristics of high plateau terrain,when the obstacles assessment is done,the flight net track length needs to be computed accurately.The computation of the distance of the third segment of net track after one engine out is very difficult.Algorithm based on particle mechanics model and algorithm based on BP network model are used to stuty this issue,and according to the results,algorithm based on particle mechanics model is compared with algorithm based on BP network.In terms of bacon signal shielding analysis,combining with the characteristics of electromagnetic signal beacon,earth curvature and atmospheric refraction,beacon signal shielding model and different heights beacon signal masking algorithm is presented.When the digital elevation data is processed,the optimization algorithm based on grid DEM generatingcontours is come up,and this algorithm can solve the ambiguity of generating contours.At last,beacon signal coverage scope assement system is developed with C# and ArcGIS Engine.In the end of this paper,an airport which is located in complicated terrain of high plateau is taken as an example.The designment of EOSID of this airport which is based on bacon signal coverage scope assessment,at the same time in combination with other elements is made,and this EOSID is verified by some aspects.The result shows that the solution is safe and feasible.
