Study On The Practice Of Central Village Construction Planning With Regional Characteristics

The construction of the central village is a major part of the overall construction of a well-off society proposed at the 16 th Congress of Party Representatives.The planning and construction of central village is an important task of the planning of socialist new village.It is a feasible job in underdeveloped areas and an effective path to rural urbanization.Some villages,blended into the regions where they stand,represent remarkable regional characteristics in location selection,layout design and house building with the passage of time.And these characteristics are very precious and delicate,which is worth special attention in the study of new village planning.This paper does a practical study on the planning and construction of the central village with regional characteristics,exposing in the framework of literature review,problem,practical study,solution,then conclusion by adopting the theories of rural and urban planning and some theories and methods of other related disciplines.It begins with the relevant definitions as to the regional characteristics and the planning and construction of central village,and analyzes the regionalism with the theories of architecture and those of rural and urban planning.As the theory of regionalism emphasizes the regional diversity,it is the theoretical basis of this study,especially in the planning of central village.It then deals with the status,problems and reasons in the planning of central village,and comes to the conclusion that the central village in Jiangxi province bear strong regional characteristics besides those general characteristics in central village in other places.Meanwhile,What's worth the attention is the shrink in the number of villages and pollution.The paper offers a case study of the planning of central village in Fuliang county,Jiangxi province.In this case,it first analyzes the status,planning and renovation.Then it attempts to solve the problems by the renovation and planning of the buildings,pubic facilities,pipe network,sanitary facilities,project of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction,specialty industry.It finally makes two suggestions.First,these central village should develop their culture tourism by exploring ancient and classic elements and building theme villages.Second,they should preserve specialty industry,build eco-villages,develop eco-tourism and improve eco-environment.
