Research On The Design Of War Memorials Exterior Space

The war is the eternal topic of human development history.Although many wars have become history,wars have left unforgettable memories and fragmented post-war scenes.Memorial acts are a good way to express grief for war,which led to the emergence of memorial space with the theme of war.Part of space developed into the war museum.In the time background with the theme topic of improve,the need of patriotic education has enhanced,the world anti-fascist tide has raise,old museums needed renovation.The war memorial has increasingly active in the public.Some functions and activities extend from the interior to e xterior.However,the disparity of economic and technological level and the lack of theoretical knowledge have led to the architects not fully considering the design of the war memorial,but only focus on the building itself and neglect the design of its e xterior space.The exterior space of the war memorial need to pave the way for internal space,rendering the atmosphere of the commemoration,but also to strengthen the experience of the feelings of the visitors,and lead people quickly into the state.Based on the above point of view,this paper chooses the exterior space of war memorial hall as the research object.The paper talks about background,related words and methods of the exterior space firstly.Based on the items,this paper discusses the comp onents of the exterior space of the war memorial hall,and then analyzes the influencing factors of the design,and then abstracts the design principle.Then,the exterior space design strategy and design method of war memorial are studied respectively.Th e third chapter,based on the classic cases with domestic and international,puts forward the exterior space design strategy of war memorials.And expounds the diversification strategy,the narrative strategy and the multidimensional strategy,in order to provide the designers with more specific design ideas.The fourth chapter based on the design strategy,from the spatial sequence,spatial morphology,space environment,further explore three aspects of war memorial space design.The paper proposes the space sequence organization which strengthens the visiting experience,maps the space shape of the war emotion,and designs the space environment to create the mood atmosphere.The war memorial exterior space is different from other types of exterior space,its distinctive feature is a profound spiritual significance,while focusing on the pluralistic experience of visitors.Therefore,the author expounds the spirit of the exterior space of war memorials in the paper.This paper through many methods.On account of architecture,combined with other related disciplines.Fully absorb and learn from the history,military,remediation,geography,literature,drama,sociology,semiotics,communication and war memorial outside space related edge disciplines.This paper will give a new way of solving the difficulties and the present dilemma of war space design and lay the foundation for the future.
