In recent years, with the global environmental problems such as the greenhouse effect, tropical rain forest and forest area reduction, the global environmental problems seriously threaten the survival and development of the whole human beings, leading to the frequent rainstorm disasters in cities, the traditional urban structure faces huge flood drainage pressure, and the concept of " sponge city" came into being. This paper studies the green space system planning and design of sponge city, which can effectively improve the hydrological and ecological environment of urban green space system and alleviate the problem of urban rainwater.Overall, this paper adopts the " from theory to practice" research strategy, mainly from the following aspects of research and draw relevant conclusions.First is the theoretical research, respectively elaborated the sponge city and the urban green space system planning related theory, studies the domestic sponge city related engineering experience, has the deep understanding to the construction sponge city green space system;Secondly, taking Xi' an city green space system as the research object, from the park green space, production green, protective green, ancillary green and other green space, the existing problems of urban green space system in Xi' an city,so as to put forward the advantages and power of using sponge city to build green space in Xi' an city. Finally, taking the the Fenghe River wetland park as an example, based on the existing research results, the paper describes the planning and design of urban green space system based on the theory of sponge city, filling the blank of research field, and also has important guidance for the construction and development of urban new district...
