In recent years, some subordinate problems are now become more prominent.Loss of control – inflight(LOC-i)and vehicle operators' distraction is now the most important factors in aviation accidents, especially in general aviation.Using the concept of Tactile Situation Awareness System(TSAS)from US military, combine with the traits of civil aviation,a tactile display hardware has been designed and made, while a bundled software been programed and tweaked. Some parameters were tested and set with pre-experiment,three main mode of flight data encoding were set.A simulated flight experiment to judge flight control been designed, all three modes have been tested under this scenario with pilot students.By comparing the flight data records and participant reports, the simplest direct encoding mode and envelope warning mode is the best to improve pilot control ability in most cases, while vertical speed mode could be even better in vertical related control. However, the flight director mode could distract pilot's control ability due to the need of complex autopilot settings. The result also demonstrated under proper encoding, the tactile display system could improve flight control, decrease the risk of loss of control–inflight and distraction.
