With the continuous development of social economy,people's living standards are continuing to improve.The purchasers pay attention to not only the space and environment of the car,but also the beat of the car tyres and the vibration of the body.Because it is related to the passengers' comfort,the smoothness of the car driving.The stability and reliability of the suspension system has a crucial role to these performances of the car.It has many advantages such as the simple structure,high efficiency,good stability,fast response and so on when the tubular linear motor is used in the suspension system.Therefore,tubular linear motor has a good development trend in the suspension system field.The research objects of this paper are two kinds of permanent magnet tubular linear(PMTL)motor.Both of them have good fault-tolerant ability.Finite element method(FEM)model is established and structure parameter optimization is carried out.The static performances of two motors are analyzed.To verify the theoretical analysis and the effectiveness of the proposed machine,a prototype motor is built and tested.The manufacture process of the prototype motor is described in detail.The fruits of the study are:1)According to the current study of tubular linear motor,to solve the problem of the fault-tolerant performance is poorer,a new type of surface-mounted PMTL motor with fault-tolerant ability is put forward and analyzed.FEM model is established.The static characteristics of the existing and proposed machines,including magnetic field distribution,inductance,back electromotive force(back-EMF),detent force and force are studied by FEM respectively.2)A new type of interior-mounted PMTL motor is put forward and analyzed Finite element method(FEM)model is established.The static characteristics,including magnetic field distribution,inductance,back-EMF and harmonics,detent force are studied by FEM.Furthermore,the comparative analysis to the static characteristics of two kinds of motor are carried on and the final prototype motor processing scheme is determined.3)According to the structure and parameters of the proposed motor and the processing characteristics of tubular linear motor,the manufacture process of the prototype motor is elaborated.4)A mathematical model of the motor is deduced,which contains two coordinates.The control strategy,which is used to control the prototype motor,is described.
