In response to the “No Clay Brick” policy and aimed at forming the basis of application for load-bearing horizontal-hole interlocking concrete hollow block(HHICHB)in the practical engineering,in this dissertation,a test is conducted for seismic behavior of HHICHB walls. The test was carried out on the four walls with different constraint conditions. They include the wall without constraint, the wall with end structural columns, the wall with end structural columns and one-rank horizontal mortar reinforced band every 600 mm,the wall with end structural columns and one-rank horizontal mortar reinforced band every 400 mm.Firstly, the reversed cyclic loading test was conducted,in which the process of crack development was made and hysteresis curve and skeleton curve are obtained.Further, energy dissipation, ducility, stiffness degradation, the strain of horizontal mortar reinforced band and so forth are analyzed on the ground of test datas. The result shows that angle of displacement HHICHB wall with structural columns is generally higher than that of vertical-hole concrete wall. The end structural column is capable of enhancing ducility. In addiction, horizontal mortar reinforced band enables the wall to improve shear bearing capacity by a big margin, decelerate rate of stiffness dagradation and stifle the development of cracks on the wall and so forth.Secondly, hysteretic behavior of the wall with end structural columns and one-rank horizontal mortar reinforced band every 400 mm is analyzed in theory. This dissertation proposes restoring force model that is fit for the walls, and establishs load and unloading rules. Finally,ABAQUS is used for the finite element analysis. The result indicates that the skeletion curve has a good correlation with the experimental. Thus, the finite element software is able to work for macroscopic analysis on HHICHB walls.
