Concrete hollow brick, as the substitute of clay solid brick, which is used in the world more and more widely for its advantages such as land saving, high strength, light, etc. But some problems are encountered during the using process, mainly in easy to crack, poor heat insulation performance, poor seepage performance and inconvenience for arranging transverse pipeline, etc. these issues seriously affected the development of block building and prevented the block building in the further promotion application and the innovation of wall materials. In view of the above questions, the project team put forward he concrete horizontal-hole and interlocking hollow block which effectively solve these problem. Besides, it is easy to operate, and the construction quality is easy to be ensured..To meet the requirements of the block’s and bearing capacity and the thermal performance, the project team has developed many different section of the block form, it’s nonlinear mechanical behavior are studied by means of ANSYS software, and the thermal performance of "H" type of block are analysed with the numerical method and Normative method, all these provide theoretical basis for block type design.Now, with the form of block standard drawing as the model, by changing concrete match ratio, we has produced the MU10bearing block. through the block’s compressive strength test phenomenon, we get that the block’s failure mechanism is brittle failure, the vertical cracks appear in the joint of the horizontal and vertical rib, also appear in vertical ribs, based on simulation we find that the cracks happened to emerge the same part. ANSYS can be used as a effective method for determining the type of the block.With ANSYS software, I complete the modeling and meshing of horizontal-hole and interlocking hollow block and vertical concrete hollow block, analysis of their nonlinear behavior. passing these steps, I obtain the blocks type deformation, stress and strain distribution, at last, the comparison between the various blocks indicate that the "H" type block2has high usage rate of material and the bearing capacity meet to the requirements of bearing block.With numerical simulation method and Normative Methodologies, I calculates the heat transfer coefficient of "H" type horizontal linkage concrete hollow block, By comparing the two different analytical results, I find that these has larger difference. we also know that the thermal performance got the large scale enhancement because of the cross of hole. At the same time, the results calculated by standard method indicate that when used in the insulation wall, standard drawing block can meet in hot summer and cold winter of requirements,"H" type block can meet the requirements of the cold regions.
